Kelly grew up in Katy, Texas. In 2002, she graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 2002. In 2005, Kelly then went on to graduate with a 4.0 GPA and was Valedictorian in her nursing program at Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from her nursing program, Kelly worked several years as an R.N. in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (N.I.C.U.) at both civilian and military hospitals in San Antonio.
With a love and passion for both her medical career and teaching, Kelly decided to pursue additional education. In 2015, Kelly again graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in her Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus in Education, program. In 2018, Kelly completed her 4th degree, and graduated with honors from South University in Savannah, Georgia, with her post-graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Kelly is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and is licensed to practice medicine in multiple states, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Colorado, Florida, and Iowa at this time.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys attending medical webinars and events, catching a hot yoga class, and spending quality time with her husband and 8-year-old son. They can usually be found outside at a local park or event, trying to master the latest video game, or putting together a puzzle.
Emily grew up in Tulsa, and she is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and her graduate degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama.
Throughout her nursing career, Emily has worked in aesthetic and functional medicine, as well as urgent care and emergency medicine. Her attention to detail and compassion for others is obvious in her day-to-day work, and patients find her approachable, intelligent, and caring.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys traveling (she has gone on multiple medical missions to other countries), skiing, volunteering on her church worship team, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
A native Oklahoman, Rev. Gatewood, III is a psychotherapist, licensed pastoral counselor, and retired U.S. Air Force Chaplain / Captain.
Rev. Gatewood, III earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, where he played football as a full-back.
After suffering a college football injury, Rev. Gatewood, III was called to ministry and received his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the prestigious Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), in Atlanta, Georgia.
After graduate school, he completed his chaplain residency at Atlanta Medical Center, a level 1 trauma hospital, where he served in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Neurological ICU, and the in-patient psychiatric unit prior to completing his internship at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Rev. Gatewood, III specializes in: addiction, anger management, depression / anxiety, trauma / PTSD, marriage and family counseling, men's therapy, and more. Patients find Rev. Gatewood, III extremely easy to relate to, given his wide range of experience and professional background. He can offer patients a religious or non-religious perspective and approach towards their overall and mental wellness, depending upon what the patient prefers.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and stepson, and being outdoors, especially if it involves hunting and fishing.
Susie is a medical aesthetician and graduate of Clary Sage College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. Passionate about skin health and helping people look and feel their best, Susie stays up to date with the latest trends in skin care treatments and products. In addition to her training at Clary Sage, Susie continues to her education via various trainings and additional certifications. Susie performs many treatments at Aging Backwards, including microneedling, microneedling with radio frequency, peels, and more.
Patients instantly feel at ease with Susie, enjoy her warm and energizing personality, and greatly value the time she takes to truly help each and every patient with all their skin care needs, in and out of the clinic.
During her free time, Susie enjoys being active, playing tennis, and spending time with her daughter, who is a freshman at the University of Arizona. Go cats!
Kathy is one of the friendly voices that you will likely encounter when calling Aging Backwards. Kathy was previously a hair stylist and has worked in the med spa industry for over 12 years. Very well versed in numerous medical products and services, Kathy is an excellent resource for our patient and a wealth of information.
In addition to her professional aesthetic and wellness experience, Kathy has a natural passion for staying healthy and looking and feeling her best. Therefore, Kathy can easily relate to our patients and give them feedback and guidance on the services we provide.
When not in the clinic, Kathy enjoys working out, planting flowers, hiking in the mountains, and reading. Kathy and her husband have 2 sons and 5 beautiful grandchildren that they love spending time with as much as possible.
Originally from Colorado, Leah recently moved to Oklahoma to be near her family.
With a genuine heart and huge desire to help others, Leah has been drawn to a career in the medical field and has completed several of her nursing school prerequisites and nursing courses towards becoming a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
Patients find it very easy to interact with Leah and enjoy her relaxed, yet professional attitude and clinical skills.
When not at the clinic, Leah is completing her college education, works part-time at the Buckle, travels back to Colorado to visit friends, and enjoys spending time with her family.
