At Aging Backwards Med Spa, our goal is to help you look refreshed and rejuvenated, never over-done!
Want to relax those wrinkles? Decrease headaches and TMJ? Or just stop your underarm sweat from ruining your clothes and embarrassing you?
Our board-certified Nurse Practitioners are here to answer your prayers to all of the above. Botox lasts 3 months on average, depending on dosage and location of placement.
Please note that after your treatment, it is best to stay upright for 4 hours afterwards and avoid rubbing or touching the treatment area for best results.
Whether you want to have the perfect pout or look more rested or the bags under your eyes are less than flattering, our Nurse Practitioners will suggest a plan of action with filler (and/or other treatments) to help you meet your goals.
Prior to dermal filler treatments, you will be numbed with topical cream in order to minimize any discomfort.
There are various fillers to choose from, depending on the area of the face, budget, and desired longevity.
Dr. Charles Runels, MD, developed the famous O-Shot, P-Shot, Vampire Facial, Vampire Facelift, and Vampire Breastlift.
The Vampire Facelift involves combining both PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Hyaluronic Acid fillers (Juvederm) in a very specific way to create instant results that also stimulate multi-potent stem cells and start to create new tissue as well as new collagen and elastin.
If you are considering a traditional facelift, this procedure may be able to prevent you from needing one or needing one as soon. A traditional face lift simply takes the outer layer of your skin and stretches it to tighten the skin, doing nothing for the lost volume underneath the skin or the quality of the skin itself.
Just as in the Vampire Facelift, the Vampire Breastlift involves combining both PRP and Juvederm in a proprietary way developed by Dr. Charles Runels, MD. Our Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners utilize his method to create volume, cleavage, and rejuvenate the décolletage. With Dr. Runels' method, we can also balance unequal breast size, enhance cup size, decrease surgical scars, and treat inverted nipples as well as enhance sensitivity of the nipples.
The PDO Thread Lift is a treatment which lifts and tightens skin, using threads made of Polydioxanone (PDO), or dissolvable suture material.
PDO Thread Lift Effects:
Over 3-4 months after being placed, PDO threads are dissolved naturally by the body. The lifted facial contours will remain for an approximately 6-12 months more, due to the cellular rejuvenation effects. Your skin cells are stimulated to produce new collagen, and new blood vessels to improve skin microcirculation. At the same time, the PDO threads cause the fat tissue to contract, producing a skin tightening and facial slimming effect.
Microneedling can significantly improve the tone and texture of your skin, decrease wrinkles, and improve the appearance of acne scars, to name a few. Microneedling can also be used for body rejuvenation as well as to treat hair loss.
Prior to microneedling, a topical numbing cream is applied so you experience little-to-no discomfort. Microneedling involves utilizing a device made of tiny needles to make shallow holes (channels) in your skin. The depth of the treatment is individualized and based on your specific skin needs. Treatments can be performed every 4 to 6 weeks until the desired result is achieved. Maintenance treatments are then performed once every 3-12 months for overall rejuvenation and anti-aging.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is an optional upgrade for added blood-derived growth factors to assist in enhanced rejuvenation and decrease downtime. Adding PRP as a gliding agent during traditional microneedling is known as the Vampire Facial.
Microneedling with RF (Radio Frequency) involves the addition of heat energy that stimulates fibroblasts, collagen, and elastin production on a deeper level than traditional microneedling. This aids specifically in skin tightening and remodeling.
There is very little downtime with microneedling, but you should expect to look as if you have a mild to moderate sunburn for 6-48 hours. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive sweating for approximately 4 hours after the procedure. Avoid makeup application for approximately 12-48 hours, depending upon the depth of your treatment.
